Jessica Pretz, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Jessica Pretz (LPC) graduated from the University Alaska Fairbanks with a BA in Social Work and a Masters in Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University. Being licensed in Texas and Alaska, two very different locations has given her a great understanding of diverse challenges.
Since 2011, she has worked in many settings, including In-Patient, Private Practice, and the rural setting of the Alaska Villages. In this time, she has worked with ages ranging from adolescent to elderly, offering services to include individual therapy, family counseling, and couples counseling.
Jessica believes in taking a person-centered, solution-focused approach where she meets each client exactly where they are at, working on designing a therapy approach individualized for each client’s needs. Her passion lies in helping individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, acceptance, trauma, and the response.
While Jessica prefers seeing clients in person, she currently is practicing off a mix of Telehealth and in-person sessions.
